Desk is a made from a slab of joined hemlock planks recovered from a demolished barn in Western NY. The slab was planed and sanded and completed.
The cast-iron foundation is an previous sink base, modified and refinished by me. Our crew recovered it from a making that was the previous dwelling for unwed mothers and kids (1920s) in Buffalo. The building is getting rehabbed and for the duration of gutting we recovered these bases.
