Limewashed brick with some stone dressings. Slate roof.
Machinery intact with an iron breast shot waterwheel driving a 3-throw pump made by Joseph Bramah.

Very little Cressingham mill was rebuilt in 1821 and despite its dual electricity supply, this was only a tiny mill. The watermill was a solitary storey brick constructing with a slate roof that housed an iron breast-shot drinking water wheel, 12 toes in diameter and 6 ft wide. The windmill was a 6 storey 50ft tower mill that housed two pairs of wind run stones in the higher storeys and a different two pairs of stones in the decreased part driven by the h2o wheel.

Tiny Cressingham mill was a uncommon combination of a wind and watermill doing work together. The only other Norfolk illustrations are Burnham Overy Union mills and Thurning mill.
