Mark wanted to make a portable base for his drill press since he had limited space in his workshop. He selected a design that would make the base convenient to move around and easy to store when it was not in use.

He selected quality lumber for the construction, and then cut it according to the dimensions of his drill press. He then marked the holes for the bolts that would attach the press to the base, and proceeded to drill the holes.

Mark then sanded all of the pieces to make sure they were smooth and free of splinters. He then used an electric screwdriver to connect the pieces together.

Once the structure was complete, Mark then attached the wheels to the base. He chose sturdy wheels that would be able to handle the weight of his press, and also lock into place when he needed to use it.

After the wheels were attached, Mark then added a handle to one end of the base. The handle would make the base even easier to move around, and it also made it possible for him to lift the base and store it vertically when it was not needed.

Overall, Mark was very pleased with how his portable base turned out. It was made of quality materials, sturdy, easy to move around, and it was perfect for his limited workshop space.
