Sunset more than the Minor Rann of Kutch
The Rann of Kutch is a huge space of salt marshes located largely in Gujarat (largely the Kutch district), India and the southern tip of Sindh, Pakistan. It is divided into two main areas Terrific Rann of Kutch and Minimal Rann of Kutch.
The Rann of Kutch is situated in the Thar Desert bio-geographic spot in the Indian state of Gujarat with some areas in Pakistani province of Sindh. It is a seasonally marshy location, the phrase Rann this means “salt marsh”, alternating with medaks, elevated pieces of land the place vegetation grows.
Kutch is the name of the district in Gujarat wherever this location is located. The marsh handles a massive area of around 10,000 square miles and is positioned amongst the Gulf of Kutch and the mouth of the Indus River in southern Pakistan. The Rann of Kutch is the only significant flooded grasslands zone in the complete Indo-Malayan region.
