This is just one of the prettiest parts of curly maple I have seen. It is positively iridescent. The bowl is roughly 5″ wide by 2.5″ tall. I finished this piece with two coats of Tung Oil adopted by a coat of Carnuba wax making use of the Beall buffing process.
